Early morning experience the famous Jaldapara Elephant Safari starts from the Hollong Lodge of WBFDC. Each elephant accommodates four people and takes the tourists through a wide trench and bumpy pathway of the core dense jungle. Crossing picturesque streams along the way, the highlight of the safari is a wet grassy land where if luck permits, one can witness the one horn Indian rhino in all its glory. Throughout the Jaldapara Jungle Safari, the Indian Peacock, deers, wild bison, and wild boars can also be seen.
After breakfast, proceeds towards Jayanti a river-side forest village in Buxa Tiger Reserve of the Dooars region of West Bengal, India. It is often called the Queen of Dooars, with the Jayanti River flowing like a precious necklace.River Jayanti also creates a natural border between Bhutan and West Bengal region.
